An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate as a Lead Commissioning Officer within the Performance & Development Team. The post holder will work with partners to commission advice, support and accommodation services, including those for young people and vulnerable adults.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Commissioner with knowledge of monitoring accommodation provision and services for young people, domestic abuse survivors and vulnerable adults. You must be able deliver an efficient and effective commissioning programme and be able to evidence the beneficial results for service users.

You will also have demonstrable contract management, project management and quality assurance experience, as well as a good working knowledge of the legal and procurement framework. The post will also involve working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders within housing, children social care, the wider Council, health, the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), third sector providers and a range of service user groups.

You will have excellent communication skills including the ability to write high level reports and deliver presentations to a range of audiences.

We are looking for someone who is conscientious, adaptable and keen to join an innovative team to make a positive difference and drive the service forward whilst also making a difference in the lives of those vulnerable residents who need help, support and assistance.
