Specialist Learning Disabilities Programme Manager (12 months)

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and tenacious programme manager to support the work underway with a wide range of system partners and stakeholders. The post holder will provide programme management and co-ordination and commissioning of care and support activity of a specialist learning disability service.

Intensive co-production work is launching in September 2020 to re-design services for current residents of this service. The post holder will therefore contribute project management, expert knowledge and experience in guiding others through the challenges of this service transformation project with complex stakeholder management.

The role includes developing options and mobilisation of feasibility work and market testing for potentially new housing and care services. The post holder will therefore have considerable experience and a strong track record in successful commissioning and delivery of new housing and care services and will contribute to definition of a clear strategic direction, setting out and monitoring plans for project delivery and coordinating redesign and commissioning potential development.

Success in the role also depends on promoting excellent teamwork with a range of stakeholders including commissioners, clinical leads and colleagues.
