Do you have experience of working in fast past environment with a background in Place and Regeneration, Health and Wellbeing Inc. Leisure or Community Safety and are looking to take the next step in your career?

Ashfield District Council is looking for their next Service Manager, Place and Wellbeing if you are the right candidate you could progress to Assistant Director in a year.

The post holder will provide strategic leadership and management to the Place and Wellbeing section, ensuring the implementation of the Council’s aims and objectives within the range of services, events and initiatives delivered by the section.

The Council is looking for a leader with the ability to think and act strategically; and maintaining a strong relationship with Council Members.  The role is varied and cuts across a number of themes leads within the Councils corporate plan.

With experience in project and programme management the post holder would also be responsible for leading and delivery of the Leisure Transformation Programme, including the building of a new 15.5millon Leisure Centre and delivering the Towns and Future High Steet funding.
