The School Place Planning and Admissions Specialist has responsibility for leading and co-ordinating two major statutory functions within the local authority education service: School Place Planning and School Admissions. The post holder will provide overall management to the School Organisation team and the Admissions team bringing together these two complex functions to ensure every child living and moving into the borough can access a school place. The post holder will lead the delivery of the School Organisation Programme across the Borough, managing a significant capital expansion programme to secure enough school places for a growing pupil population.
