Job Share 17.5 Hours

An exciting position has arisen in the Allocations and Temporary Accommodation Service, for a Senior Access & Support Officer, with the line management responsibility for 5 members of staff. The role includes overseeing the day to day running of the Access & Support Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a quality administration service to the Temporary Accommodation Team. The Senior A&S Officer will be responsible for sourcing and overseeing the allocation of properties. They will ensure sign-up are carried out appropriately. You will have a good understanding of mixture of housing tenancy, homelessness legislation and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and other agencies. You must have excellent customer care skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. 

You will be flexible in your approach, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have proven IT, organisational and negotiation skills. Essentially you will need to manage your own workload and to ensure the efficient management of the work of the team to consistently meet deadlines.
