About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to residents and staff in adult social care in Barnet. As part of the Adults and Health Transformation Team, you will bring project management, business improvement and excellent stakeholder management skills to make tangible improvements within the directorate and for the residents of Barnet. You will be part of a high-performing, dynamic and supportive team.

This is a varied role working with colleagues across adult social care and with partner organisations. You will be involved in analysis of current issues, identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes. You will play a key part in the implementing the Medium Term Financial Strategy, ensuring that we make best use of our limited resources.

You will provide expertise and resource to ensure that the department’s key business improvement transformation projects are run to time and budget and to a high quality. You will act as a champion for innovation and continuous improvement in the directorate, providing scrutiny, challenge, research based insight and best practice.

About you

At a time of unprecedented challenge and change, we are looking for someone proactive, passionate, with excellent organisation, analysis and communication skills. 

You should have some experience of project management and/or transformation. The ideal candidate will have some experience that they can apply to the field of health and social care.

You should have a proven record of great communication and influencing a range of stakeholders to get work done, especially when it comes to managing change.

We are looking for someone who can evidence a drive towards continuous improvement and high quality work.
