We are looking for a talented individuals to join our Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) Senior Leadership team. You will share our ambition for fairness and equity in the achievement of effective outcomes for communities and residents alike.

The partnership, between North Ayrshire Council and NHS Ayrshire and Arran, strives to enhance the patient and service user experience and develop a culture which is innovative and works closely with partners and service users to develop solutions that enable residents to live safe, healthy lives out in the community.

The Director will be responsible for the delivery of the services agreed by the Integration Joint Board including management of the integrated budget for those services in pursuit of positive outcomes for patients, people who use services and carers. The postholder will provide a strategic leadership role in strengthening partnership arrangements taking a whole systems approach to ensure that safe, quality and person-centred care and services are delivered in a consistent and equitable basis across North Ayrshire, while effectively managing organisational change. Highly developed political and relationship management skills are required due to the complex political operating environment and range of stakeholders involved in the work of the partnership.

Psychometric assessments are expected to be issued for completion by 27th November. Interviews are expected to take place on 17th (PM) and 18th (AM) December.

You will be required to work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Teams of the Council and Health Board providing strategic leadership for the HSCP and wider organisations. This post is Politically Restricted and the post holders will be required to undertake a PVG check for Children and Adults.
