This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to apply your professional and leadership experience in our new Executive Director of Adults.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and part of the Senior Management Team, you will provide strategic leadership to adult social care and housing services, ensuring that Shropshire effectively discharges it statutory responsibilities and delivers the quality services and best outcomes for our Shropshire residents. You’ll play a central role in making our strategy, including financial strategy a success, bringing services, providers and commissioners together through successful collaborations and partnerships to deliver the Council priorities.

We are looking for a pragmatic, resilient and inspiring leader who demonstrates a strong ability to change at pace and transform our services; influencing at all levels, across partnerships and the political arena. You should have substantial high-level experience in strategic management of health social care and housing services.
