To do this we need to be able to deliver successful change at pace.

So if you’re passionate about driving improvement and enthusiastic about learning to create positive change, can thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment and work well as part of a high-performing team, you could be just who we’re looking for.

The Council has recently concluded a procurement exercise for a new Children’s Social Care System and we are very excited about the new contract with Liquidlogic. This is the core case management system, which we believe, will help and support the service delivery to our partners and more importantly, our service users.

The System Implementation Support Officers will take a proactive role within the core Project Team in driving forward implementing change within the Council’s Children’s Service by training multi End Users on how to gain the greatest benefit from the new system.

These are rewarding and challenging roles, requiring a positive and flexible attitude. Successful candidates will be involved with designing, developing and delivering complex system training to staff at all levels across the organisation.

The role requires excellent people skills, understanding why and how people react to learning and employing appropriate strategies to ensure all users are competent in the use of the system.

It is expected that the suitable candidate will have the following knowledge and skills:

  • Level 4 Qualification in Training or an equivalent level of competency demonstrated through relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of effective training techniques and how to identify training needs
  • Practical experience of delivering group training to staff at all level
  • Ability to facilitate remote learning
