Due to the retirement of the current postholder we are looking for a knowledgeable & proactive person to lead and develop the Business Rates team whilst maximising collection.

The post holder will naturally supervise the administration, collection and enforcement of Business Rates and Business Improvement District levies so significant knowledge in this area is essential.

There is expectation that the successful candidate will, through liaison and networking, establish good business relationships and through innovation make the service more efficient whilst improving quality and performance.  Excellent communication skills are essential.

A detailed working knowledge of Capita’s Business Rates and Business Improvement District computer system is desirable.
