Barnet’s street cleansing service are looking for a number of Cleansing Operative / Drivers to help us in our aim to be one of the cleanest borough’s in London.

We are looking for hard working, motivated, reliable people to join our team. You will need to hold a full UK driving license and be comfortable driving 3.5t vehicles.

Duties will include litter picking / sweeping and emptying and changing litter bins as well as using mechanical cleaning equipment such as sweepers and jet washers. You will be expected to work outdoors and in all weathers. 

Experience in this type of work / activity and an understanding of associated Health & Safety, would be useful. 

You will be representing the Council when carrying out your duties and will need to be courteous and helpful at all times, communicating clearly with visitors and residents.
