Consultant in Public Health / Consultant in Public Health Medicine: Full time, Temporary Contract

This is a full-time post for a Consultant in Public Health /Consultant in Public Health Medicine fixed term for one year to cover Maternity Leave.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to improving the health and wellbeing on children and young people. They will lead work to improve the health of children and young people by developing and co-ordinating child and maternal public health programmes, and providing public health advice to commissioners and service providers on children’s health issues.

The post holder will be the strategic lead for the Healthy Child programme and children’s oral health, and supporting child. They will provide borough- specific population level advice to other commissioners of child health services including maternity, health visiting, antenatal and new-born screening, and young people’s sexual health.
