Are you an experienced Data or Information Governance Officer? Are you passionate about protecting customer data? Are you looking for a permanent role with a successful organisation?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Governance Officer to join our Technology and Change Team to support the development, quality, governance and protection of data and information across the organisation. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how data and information governance processes and policies can be developed and enhanced, have an understanding of current data protection guidance and legislation and have knowledge of statutory requirements, including requirements in respect of professional body.
You will have experience of data improvement, information governance and data protection compliance functions, of contributing to service improvement, service efficiency and seeking innovation and have a proven track record of working to and achieving deadlines and targets.
Excellent analytical, audit and decision-making skills are essential as well as the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate so excellent communication skills are vital. You will have literacy and numeracy skills to Level 3 or equivalent.
