We are seeking motivated people, who like a challenge, have a commitment to housing and want to help us deliver excellent services.

We have several vacancies for trainee positions within our Housing Inclusion Service at Royal Greenwich. The Housing Inclusion Service is the Council’s service for people with a housing need. The service looks wherever possible to give advice to people approaching the Council who are either homeless or threatened with homelessness. Our aim is to prevent homelessness.

As a trainee you will get the opportunity to get involved in a range of varied work and gain knowledge, insight and expertise, in working in a challenging and fast paced environment.

The vacancies have arisen at a time when several of our trainees have successfully moved on to promotional roles within the service.

The successful candidates will gain:

  • Full time roles – Fixed Term for 2 years (35 hours per week, including training).

Please note that to be eligible for an apprenticeship, you must demonstrate a level of competency in Mathematics and English. Shortlisted candidates who have English and Mathematics GCSE Grade D / Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are required to bring along certificates to their interview. Alternatively, you will be required to take Mathematics and/or English assessments, on the day.
