Wakefield District is nationally recognised for its successful track record of delivering integrated working to deliver better outcomes for its residents.

We are looking for an Older People’s Commissioning Manager who can deliver better outcomes for the population of Wakefield District by leading, influencing and shaping the commissioning of older people’s programmes, care homes and domiciliary care services on behalf of the Wakefield Metropolitan District Council (WMDC) and working very closely with Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group (WCCG).

We want someone who is outcomes - driven, flexible, committed to improving quality and able to work successfully across a whole system.  You will need to have excellent people skills and demonstrate a commitment to working in partnership with other agencies, providers and service users.
