We are looking for a Business Change Analyst to join our Change team to undertake business analysis and requirements definition activities to identify opportunities to improve services or deliver efficiencies.

Our Team

Here at North Yorkshire County Council our Technology and Change Department plays a vital part in improving and developing services across the whole Council for the benefit of our customers and staff. This means that our department is at the heart of exciting transformational change projects, working with core public services across North Yorkshire, such as service re-design, technical project delivery, and digital innovation.  We have also recently been at the forefront of the Council’s Covid 19 response.

The role

As our Business Analyst you will work closely with all directorates and other experts to identify options for change to achieve service improvements and deliver savings. This includes changes to organisational structures, business processes, technology, culture and ways of working for both back office and frontline staff.

What you’ll bring to the team

We are looking for someone who has a minimum of NVQ Level 3 Literacy and Numeracy and a relevant qualification such as BCS business analysis foundation or equivalent experience. A strong communicator, both verbal and written, with a proven track record of exceptional influencing and persuading skills whilst having a flexible approach, and the ability to demonstrate sensitivity to different needs of key stakeholders including customers. You must be able to analyse information from a range of sources.
