And we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for using Data to manage, analyse and interpret information to support the provision of strategy, policy, improvement and change work across the organisation.

In this role you will process statutory returns to relevant government bodies and produce high quality reports that support the cross-cutting council wide outcomes approach. Alongside this, you will deliver management information (MI) to senior managers for performance monitoring and service planning.

You will also be expected to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and will work across a variety of disciplines to deliver corporate and directorate responsibilities.   

You will hold a relevant subject qualification or relevant experience of applying statistical knowledge and skills including statistical techniques, research methodology and data protection. 

You will be highly numerate and literate and possess excellent communication skills with a proven track record of presenting information to a range of audiences.

To succeed, you will have grasp of how local government operates and its functions.This role is also subject to a DBS Enhanced Check.
