Job Details

Tricuro is one of the largest local authority trading companies in the UK. We provide a range of care and support services to 7,000 residents across Dorset county, including residential and nursing care; day services; support and activities; and care within the home across Dorset Council and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council local authority areas.

Tricuro is embarking on a programme of transformation and modernisation and the role of Director of Corporate Affairs has been created to strengthen our existing Executive Team. In the role, the new Director will make a key contribution to continuing to improve the lives of our clients, enabling them to build rich and independent lives by providing strong leadership and management across all of Tricuro’s corporate support functions: Communication, Information and Engagement, Business Support, HR and Staffing, Business Development, Training and Development, IMT, Governance and Board Assurance. Passionate about exceptional customer service, you will play a critical role in ensuring Tricuro continues to provide high quality, person-centred, safe, efficient and innovative services.

Whilst supporting our new business strategy and modernisation agenda through 2021 and beyond, as Director of Corporate Affairs you will begin by shaping a people strategy to support our 1,500 skilled and dedicated staff. As an innovative organisation, we pride ourselves on our people and our culture, which you will continue to strengthen and develop. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will influence Tricuro’s change programme and play a crucial role in shaping our future.

Partnership building will be a key part of this role, internally and externally. You will provide sound advice to the Tricuro Board and our shareholder group, as well as nurturing positive, robust and effective relationships with commissioners and key officers from our two local authority and CQC partners.

Whilst any experience and/or knowledge of local government and regulated care services would be very welcome, more importantly, you will have a genuine desire to work in the context of providing high quality adult care and support services and be committed to your own personal learning in the role. You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of driving and delivering development, improvement and change across a range of corporate support functions, regardless of sector.

If you’ve got a passion for leading the delivery of high quality, person-centred, values-based care and corporate support functions that will genuinely improve people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
