Lead Programme Manager: Business Innovation

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Programme Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our expanding Delivery team at Design Council.

Design Council is an independent charity with a purpose to make life better by Design. Our vision is a world where the role and value of design is recognised as a fundamental creator of value, enabling happier, healthier and safer lives for all.

The Delivery team is expanding to support delivery of a range of innovative programmes with an ambitious goal to reach at least 500 businesses with design support over the next 2 years to enable and inspire our clients to create and deliver better places.

As part of our team, you will lead our business innovation work, part of our Design for Good Business programme, with the unique opportunity of working with our network of leading UK experts on some of the country’s most exciting projects

You will have a degree qualification or demonstrable experience in design /design leadership, significant experience of successfully leading, developing and managing complex multiple programmes with the ability to design programmes of support business.   Strong commercial acumen and a track record of developing commercial products that have proven success in the market place are essential to this role.
