Senior Project Manager – Corporate

Capital Projects and Property Maintenance within the directorate of Regeneration Enterprise and Skills are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager within the Corporate team to manage delivery of high profile, place changing, new build and refurbishment projects. The current portfolio of projects include the construction of a new, state of the art leisure centre incorporating wet and dry sports as well as the refurbishment of locally and nationally listed public buildings.

If you have extensive experience of managing large scale construction projects in excess of £20m and a track record of delivering high profile projects on time and to budget then this job offers the opportunity to be involved in the major regeneration of Woolwich Town Centre.

You should have a proven track record in budget management and  procurement, especially in relation to procurement in the public sector and understand the complexity of delivering projects within a Local Government environment. Strong communication skills are essential and stakeholder engagement and the management of expectations will be a day to day requirement in this post.

If successful you will become the senior member of a team delivering real change by way of improvements to existing buildings and construction of new public buildings within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, reporting to the Programme Manager within the Directorate of Regeneration, Enterprise and Skills.
