The Role

Wandsworth Work Match, the councils Jobs and Skills brokerage is recruiting for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer as a job share, part time (.5 FTE) to add additional resource to an already successful delivery team.

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and develop effective data management systems to gather regular monitoring information and ensure that this information is regularly collated, analysed and reported to senior managers, external funders and Council Committees as required.

As Work Match continues to evolve, this position is a key part of the service and its ability to report on the vast number of local people we support across Wandsworth. As part of the evolution of Work Match, in the near future this post will feature line management of 1x member of staff.

The post holder will help facilitate the regular review of Business Plans, Strategies, Action Plans, Local Job Brokerage and Contractor's performance to ensure that outcomes are met, strategic direction analysed and any areas of concern highlighted and action proposed to improve performance.

We are seeking someone with an eye for detail and a flair for data analysis. The Monitoring and Evaluation team also track and monitor Section 106 agreements with planning to ensure that monies from the agreements are tracked and updated for the Resources Manager in the Economic Development Office.

The Monitoring and Evaluation team regularly source other information that may be relevant to the work of the Employment Delivery team, such as briefing notes, responses to Members' Enquiries and Freedom of Information requests, taking responsibility for drafting appropriate responses.

This is an exciting time to join Work Match and help in the continued delivery of high-quality resident engagement and business engagement activity across Wandsworth and in the reporting of a wide range of work undertaken by the Employment and Skills Delivery Team.

We recognise the importance of a good balance between work and home life so we do everything we can to accommodate flexible working including, working from home, compressed or part-time hours, term time only, job shares and other arrangements. Please just let us know in your application or at any stage throughout the process (and beyond) if these are options you’d like to explore. (delete as appropriate) We also offer a generous holiday allowance of 39 paid days (pro rata) including bank holidays (Please note that this job opening is for a part time position, .5 FTE and as such, some staff benefits will be offered pro-rata.) and a wide range of learning and development opportunities.

In addition, we offer a range of staff benefits such as membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme, childcare vouchers, new technology scheme, interest-free loans on annual travel cards, discounts at many leisure activities, restaurants, shops and other establishments.

Please note, this job role is a fixed term position with funding until September 2022.
