About Us:

Are you an experienced Social Worker?

And want to work in a borough, ranked as having some of the best adult social care services in the Country?

This is a rolling advert and applications will be considered as and when received.

While many of our residents are flourishing in our borough, others need a little more support – and that is where our Adult Social Care and Public Health team come in.

Working alongside colleagues in Westminster City Council, we have formed a bi-borough partnership which supports the sharing of facilities and expertise – this allows us to provide joined-up health and social care services that are constantly evolving and improving.

With both boroughs ranked as having some of the best adult social care services in the country, we intend to maintain these high standards, supporting people to stay close to their communities and homes, and outside of acute and institutional care where it is appropriate.  We help our community to be as independent as possible, and we have a clear focus on early intervention. Working closely with our community and health colleagues to improve people's lives.

The Role:

We are looking for experienced, qualified social workers who share our values and commitment and are passionate about improving the lives of local residents. As a Social Worker, you will have knowledge and experience of relevant legislation. You will have the ability to undertake innovative assessments and care planning with individuals, carers and their personal support networks.  Along with supporting people with the right care and information at the right time, you will support vulnerable adults and lead on safeguarding enquiries. Although the role will be predominately working with adults with physical disabilities, there is a cross over with mental health and other areas of social work. Working in a fast-paced Adult’s Team that covers the north and south of the borough, supporting clients to enable independence, promote wellbeing and work alongside colleagues in different agencies.

The health and safety of our staff is of paramount importance and we are committed to ensuring that not only to do our staff have the right PPE, but they have the right equipment to enable them to work from home.

Please refer to the Job Description for further information on the role.

About You:
