Job Details
Asset management are looking to recruit Property services officers within the dedicated Maintenance & Occupied Teams and Damp Team.
Higher B Tech or similar qualification and extensive building experience of which substantial time spent on maintenance, or have Extensive surveying experience,
You will be responsible to the ordering manager and will undertake the inspection of properties to specify repairs and improvements within the specific disciplines will be working. It is essential that you possess the required skills to ensure repairs are carried out speedily, efficiently and in accordance with specification requirements. You will also be responsible to check the accuracy of valuations and invoices submitted by contractors in order to maximise the effective use of public monies
You will need good organisational skills, and experience of liaising and communicating with members of the public, contractors, residents, lease holders and other staff members verbally and in writing.
You will need to have excellent IT skills and the ability to use information technology to keep data bases and write reports
You will need to work flexibly
In addition you will need to have a full valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle
