The Post

The corporate restructure and establishment of a new Customer and Digital Services directorate has created a solid organisational foundation from which we can develop a strong corporate approach to customer services and an underlying customer focussed culture. This role presents a unique opportunity for a well-organised, highly motivated and flexible individuals looking for their next career move to work in the corporate Transformation Team.

Supporting the Head of Transformation and Change Managers you will lead on engagement and communications for our digital work programme and to support remote working more widely.

Key priorities include:

• Designing and delivering a programme of engagement to ensure that users feed into the development of new systems and are equipped to rapidly adopt new systems as they are implemented
• Ensuring robust engagement and training plans are developed and implemented for digital transformation workstreams that impact on ways of working for council staff.
• Providing advice, challenge and support to Digital Workstream Leads to ensure stakeholder engagement is considered at the start and throughout projects.
• Ensuring excellent comms and engagement to all stakeholders to ensure digital change is embedded
• Working with the Councils internal comms and engagement officer on other projects to support transformation and new ways of working.

The Person

At this time of unprecedented change, we are looking for experienced and innovative individuals with a passion for utilising technology to support transformational and behavioural change within the context of reduced resources.

Can you demonstrate that you have experience of influencing change in a large complex organisation?

Have you successfully designed and delivered effective training programmes to equip users to effectively adopt new systems?

Do you have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful employee communication and engagement strategies?

Do you have a successful record of engaging and influencing internal stakeholders at all levels?
