Improving outcomes through commissioning

The role of commissioning in Oxfordshire is to understand our population both now and in the future. We are working to plan with our organisational partners, to make the most effective use of local resources and to develop solutions to meet the needs and aspirations of our service users.

As the Deputy Director for Commissioning you will be taking on this new and exciting role to create an environment where we can deliver improved outcomes with consistency using the right skills and services in an appropriate way. By supporting continuous improvement and maximising the Oxfordshire resources, we can be even more ambitious for our organisations and communities in the future.

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Adult Social Care at Oxfordshire County Council and the Deputy Chief Executive for Oxfordshire CCG you will be leading a wide and varied team of strategic commissioners, all keen to bring effective collaboration and innovation to a wide range of critical support services across health and social care.

To be successful here we are looking for experienced commissioners who can bring evidence of powerful solutions that have made a difference together with the leadership and partnership skills gained from working across a number of settings.
