Graduate Finance Trainee
This position will initially be based from home, in line with current government guidance with an expectation of being home based for the foreseeable future. However, if / when government guidelines change the role may then revert to being office based, whilst retaining some flexible working options.The Finance function within Essex County Council is looking for the senior leaders of the future. Our graduate programme will equip you with the skills and experience necessary to become a fully qualified accountant and put you on the path to the most senior roles in the public sector.
To be considered for this role you must have:
* A minimum 2:1 degree or be expecting to graduate at this level by summer 2021.
* A minimum of three A' Levels (at least A, A, B excluding general studies) or equivalent (individual circumstances considered).Ideally we expect candidates to have a good degree in a discipline with a strong numeracy and/or analytical bias but we will consider strong candidates irrespective of degree subject.You will receive a comprehensive package of benefits with all training fees, professional memberships and expenses paid for, paid time off for study and exams and 25 days leave plus bank holidays.
