Would you like to work for an ‘Outstanding’ local authority – one with an established management team, committed to developing excellent practice and ensuring that our staff receive the best support we can offer?
Telford and Wrekin’s Children's Services invite you to join us in our exciting transformation journey. If you are committed to working with families in a relational way and like us want to re-connect with the community in which our families live then we would like to hear from you.
This is an exciting time for Telford and Wrekin’s Children’s Social Care as we move forward on our Transformation Journey. We are looking to recruit a Team Manager who is passionate about doing the right thing for children and families and who are committed to working in a relational way.
Following our successful bid to adopt the FAMILY SAFEGUARDING MODEL we are looking to recruit a Team Manager who is able to work with children and families in their own community.
As one of our Team Managers we will support you to develop your skills and knowledge when working with families using a restorative approach. To excel, you’ll need a social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
Telford and Wrekin Council takes seriously the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all the children and young people entrusted to our care and it is our expectation that all staff will share this commitment. We will ensure continuous development and improvement of robust recruitment processes and procedures that promote a culture of safeguarding amongst our workforce. Completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for working with children and young people.
