An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Services Manager within the Highway Services Team to help manage and deliver streetlighting, traffic signals and other Intelligent Transport Systems projects within the county.

As a member of Highways Services Team, you will contribute towards the management and delivery of highway electrical services in order to support the delivery of the County Council’s priorities, vision and corporate objectives.

The post holder will provide support to the Highways Services Manager and will lead the Electrical Services team in the planning and delivery of Streetlighting Services and Intelligent Transport Systems across the county.

You will be required to manage, develop and advise on all aspects of the Streetlighting Service and Intelligent Transport Systems. Your team contributes to the development and delivery of excellent network management services in Norfolk, ensuring value for money at all times and you will be required to promote this objective with internal and external customers.

You will have a sound technical knowledge of Intelligent Transport Systems and streetlighting technology and design. As such you will advise of developments in the industry that would improve the service within Norfolk.

You will be experienced within these electrical service disciplines and will have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects to timescale and within budget.

You will require strong financial acumen and be experienced with contract management and PFI contracts.
