The Role

Estate Service Officer’s are key in providing core services on and around the council managed blocks and estates. You will be a crucial interface between residents and other council and external services, therefore it is important that you will be a strong communicator, be able to remain calm under pressure and have a natural flair for problem solving.

The role of an estate services officer will provide candidates with an important role within the communities it serves where no two days are the same, some of the duties include (but are not limited to) responding to emergency situations such as lift trappings, burst pipes and monitoring antisocial behaviour and noise nuisance on the estates, through to the monitoring of repairs and cleaning contractors and responding to complaints of stray dogs, on occasions where stray dogs are the issue, there may be the need to transport the stray dog to safety or third party services and therefore you must be comfortable working around dogs.

A driving licence is essential for this role.
