Job Details
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to assist Chelmsford City Council’s Building Services, in maintaining its diverse range of buildings and managing a small team of M & E Surveyors plus energy & contract support staff
This role will provide you with the opportunity to become a vital link between the Premises Managers and the Contractors we have procured, in the effective and efficient management of the work involved in maintaining the many assets and buildings that the Council own. These include, amongst others: Hylands House, the Civic Centre, Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre, High Chelmer Multi Story Car Park and Chancellor Park Pavilion. You will manage, cyclical & reactive maintenance contracts as well as supervision of utilities contracts.
You will be normally based at the Civic Centre Offices in Chelmsford, but you will also be required to travel to sites within the district
