This is a training contract for up to 3½ years.
We are recruiting to a number of apprentice roles within the council. If you are aged 16 and over you can apply for an apprenticeship with us. Please read the eligibility criteria in the Job Profile.

You will work as an Apprentice and will be required to complete a training programme that will cover all aspects of the role and will be delivered through blended learning by a registered training provider.
Working alongside and supported by one of our qualified Electricians you will be required to follow a learning programme and to assist in the provision of electrical maintenance and construction within Property Services across both our Domestic and Commercial depots. You will be required to complete a 3 ½ years training programme that will cover all aspects of the role and will be delivered through attendance at college or other distance learning methods delivered by Kirklees College of Building. As an Apprentice Electrician you will complete Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
