Do you have a strong, successful track record in Primary or Secondary education?
We are looking to appoint two Senior Education Advisers into our school improvement team. These are key roles in the Education and Skills Service and an exciting opportunity to work with schools and settings across North Yorkshire, from towns to rural communities to schools on coast. You will work with a wide variety of different types of schools and settings including maintained schools, academies and small schools.
The post holder will support North Yorkshire County Council’s school improvement strategy, which centres on developing a self-improving school system, raising achievement and diminishing differences between vulnerable groups. You will currently be a respected serving practitioner with strong leadership experience and a successful track record in school improvement or in a relevant advisory role within a Local Authority. You will have the skill, credibility, passion and experience to:
- influence, inspire and support others so that children and young people can achieve their best
- improve provision, develop educational opportunities and improve outcomes
- build on the success of early years settings and schools in North Yorkshire
- lead and manage in an imaginative and motivational way
- develop our primary and secondary networks and promote aspiration, collaboration and partnership between settings, schools, stakeholders and partners.
