It’s an exciting time in Waste and Street Services at the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
We’re seeking reliable and enthusiastic candidates for operative opportunities within our successful Street Services team. Street Services provides a highly important service to all the borough’s residents and visitors from sweeping roads to emptying waste bins - this is a vital front-line service and has a huge impact on residents and the community around them. The positions we have available are:
- Waste operatives: this role involves collecting residents and business waste containers from wheelie bins and Euro bins to textile and wee collections you will work as part of a team of three and will work anywhere in the borough any time from 6am to 2pm or 12pm to 8pm.Starting salary £22,185 plus £146.02 in allowances per year
The working hours are: 35-hour standard week, Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 8.00pm, working shifts within these times.
