Policy & Development at Telford & Wrekin Council has a new, exciting and ambitious agenda to deliver for the whole Council. We are driving forward partnership working, evidence based decision making and organisational development.

We have invested in 2 new Partnership Development Officer posts within the Partnership Team to drive effective partnership working with a focus on the Telford and Wrekin Safeguarding Partnership and the Community Safety Partnership.

We are looking for people who want to make a difference to the lives of people in Telford and Wrekin by working with partners to keep our most vulnerable residents safe and build strong communities.

You will need to understand the statutory basis for partnership work in safeguarding and community safety, experience of working with partner organisations on complex issues to develop strategies, policies, procedures and have excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

One of the posts is a full time permanent contract and the other is a full time 2 year contract, which we will consider as a 2 year fixed term contract or secondment. If you are applying as a secondment please discuss this with your line manger before applying.
