Helping Build a Better Brent
Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.
The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.
The Post
The post is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in a property, housing and regeneration related field.
The post involves providing support with office and property administration, supporting the hand over process for properties acquired or sold, including inspection on completion, arranging security, meter readings, and handover to clients using the necessary forms.
The post holder will contribute to the delivery of the Council's property programmes, which is required to achieve a significant number of property acquisitions in Brent and other areas for the council’s housing and regenerations programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in large-scale programmes that deliver property and housing solutions to local residence.
The Person
You will display good judgement, self-motivation and excellent organisational skills – you are able to manage multiple deadlines for example.
You will be able to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the high level of accuracy and confidentiality needed.
For this role, you will work with a team of property negotiators and surveyors, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Closing Date: 20 April 2021 (23:00)
