Adult Mental Health Co-ordinator

Fixed Term, Full Time

£40,637 to £49,183 per annum

Location: Clacton on Sea

Please note this is a Fixed Term/secondment opportunity for 16 months

We are now recruiting for an Adult Mental Health Co-ordinator to work with our newly established Multi-Disciplinary Team supporting the mental health and well-being of adults.

This is an exciting time for Children's Social Work in Essex. We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual who is experienced in Adult Mental Health. The team is led by a Team Manager to create conditions for success within a new and dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing a secondary role to front line Social Workers.

Our pilot is live and we are confident the impact you will have in being part of a team of multi- disciplinary professionals, will contribute to making a greater difference to the lives of children and their families in Essex.

We will support our staff to have an understanding of a systemic theoretical framework and embrace excellent models of practice which underpin our interventions. The role requires you to be mobile throughout a wide operational area including travelling around the county of Essex and beyond, transporting service users and their belongings and to be able to do so in an emergency. Driving licence and car or ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means is essential.

As part of employment with Essex County Council should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
