The Community Sport & Wellbeing Team at Chelmsford City Council is looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, and experienced people to assist with the running of the Play in the Park sports & play schemes during the Summer Holidays 2021.
You should have experience of working with children of pre-school or primary school age. This could be in a childcare/nursery or school setting, as a coach, or youth worker. Ideally you will be comfortable delivering games and sports activities, and arts and crafts. For Senior Play Worker applicants, experience of leading a team is desirable.
Staff are required on weekdays (excluding bank holidays) during the Summer school holidays, including one essential training day during this period:
Summer holidays run from Monday 26 July to Friday 27 August 2021
Successful candidates will be asked to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure undertaken by the Disclosure & Barring Service and appointment is subject to this being successful.
Interviews for these roles will be held on Tuesday 1 June & Wednesday 2 June 2021.
