37 hours per week

Environment Community Liaison Officer for elected Members, Parish and Town Councils in respect of grounds and cleansing services to agree and oversee the delivery of enhanced environmental standards funded by Parish & Town Councils and external funding bodies. Identify sustainable projects with external funders and work with the Locality Officer and local council to deliver.

As such, the post holder will also work closely with the Environmental Locality Officer for the area, Community Safety and Enforcement Team and the Parish Environmental Team and Parish Clerk, Highways, Housing Associations, idverde’s Environmental Improvement Officer and private landowners to deliver environmental enhancements above the core offer through existing contracts.

To respond to all correspondence from the Parish/Town Councils and Telford & Wrekin elected members and the public.  To monitor the performance of the councils grounds and cleansing contractor within a defined locality.
