Chelmsford City Museum has recently completed a Heritage Lottery Funded redisplay vastly improving the visitor experience which is really exciting for our re-opening this year and we can’t wait to welcome our visitors back.

Our award-winning visitor destination is looking for a passionate team member that makes every visitor feel valued.

The role of a Visitor Host will involve ensuring that all visitors enjoy the Museum to its full potential and responsibilities will range from preparing the building and its facilities daily including preparing for events and hires to providing excellent customer care and assisting with general enquiries.

As part of our close team, there will be the opportunity to help shape the visitor experience and play a key role in the way we engage with the community. The successful candidate will possess both excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
