The Applications team play a critical role in support of a wide range of platforms and technologies. The team is responsible for underpinning and delivering business applications and services to the council and Essex residents.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Applications Analyst to join the team. This role is varied, and responsibilities include full lifecycle support of web applications along with maintenance, configuration and management of on-premises and cloud-based services and platforms.
As a Senior Applications Analyst you will need to take the lead on driving forward change in response to dynamic business requirements and demands. You will need to be a good communicator and be able to collaborate with other specialised technical teams.
You will play a key role in some exciting and ambitious projects including the migration of on-premises applications to Azure, optimisation of web applications for the cloud environment and continued roll-out of Microsoft 365 suite and features.
