We are looking for looking for a Head of Local Development to lead projects in our early years and vulnerable children portfolios, including our work with local areas on parental conflict, family hubs and early childhood services.  We are also looking for two Local Development Advisers who will work closely with local leaders and commissioners to support the use of evidence in local early intervention strategy and delivery.

This new team will drive our work with local areas to apply evidence to practice. We are looking for people who understand the local public service context and have experience of strategy development in child and family services, as well an understanding of national policy and local public sector strategy and delivery relating to early intervention. They will also have strong stakeholder management skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with Whitehall, sector bodies, national charities and local public services.

To be successful, you will be a confident communicator, and have a strong appreciation of how evidence can support local decision-making and service delivery. Above all, you will be passionate and committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families, flexible and a strong team-player.
