Are you happy to work within a primary school setting and to undergo a DBS check?

We have an immediate need for a confident and capable Catering Manager to lead a small team of 2. This is a part time role finishing before 2pm Monday to Friday.

Previous experience working in a school setting and relevant clearance is advantageous but not essential. What is crucial is you have clear experience running a successful kitchen and catering team.

For those interested this role that could lead to permanent employment opportunities, but applications for temporary only is fine.

HOURS - 26 hours a week, Monday to Friday, term time.

ROLE - You will be leading a team of 2 both of which have vital roles within the kitchen. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen including all daily checks, stock rotation, ordering etc. along with monthly stocktakes

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Previous experience in a restaurant or school kitchen management is desirable. Knowledge of preparing healthy, balanced meals from scratch is a must. Managing a budget and completing stock takes is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided as a part of our commitment to staff development.
