Area Engagement/Mentoring Officer
This position is a Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2023.

We are currently looking for two Area Engagement/Mentoring Officers to engage with Sandwell people aged 16-29 to access employment and training as part of the impact - ESF Youth Employment Initiative.
You will be required to mentor and support Sandwell people within their activities, training and/or workplace, ensuring commitment to their career pathway. You will also be required to monitor and report the progression of the Sandwell people in their own development and identify progression into employment post the impact programme. You will be based with Connexions Sandwell.
It is a requirement of this position to hold an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) L3 or equivalent qualification e.g. careers guidance, social work, mentoring.
An Enhanced DBS with Children's Barring List Check is required for this role.
