Job Details
The Council’s Bereavement Services are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to join its team based at the Chelmsford Cemetery and Crematorium.
This varied role combines primarily work within the cremation team as well the chapel and internment team. You will be a key team member assisting with cremations, internment and chapel duty care aimed at ensuring quality customer service delivery within the context of an essential service area of the Council.
You will be required to complete the training and Certification of Proficiency in the Practical and Ethical Operation of Cremation Equipment (Federation of Cremation and Burial Authorities Certificate) within 12 months of appointment as part of a wider apprenticeship opportunity.
You will be required to work 37 hours per week.
