We are looking for a Qualified Teacher of Children and Young People with Vision Impairment to provide assessment, teaching and support for children and young people with vision impairment from birth – 25 years.

Support would be in family homes, early years settings, mainstream schools, special schools and FE colleges across the breadth of the City of Birmingham.

Ideally, we would like to recruit a Qualified Teacher of Children and Young people with Vision Impairment, who already has the mandatory qualification and relevant experience.

However, as this is a highly unusual post, we will also consider applications from those Qualified Teachers who are currently undertaking the mandatory qualification, or from Qualified Teachers who would be willing to undertake the mandatory training and can demonstrate experience of supporting children or young people with vision impairment within their teaching roles.
