Birmingham City Council are reviewing our approach to job evaluation and pay, which is a programme of activity that has already commenced. To aide us to progress, two exciting opportunities have arisen for candidates with experience of job evaluation, to join our Reward & Recognition team on a fixed term basis.

2 x Job Evaluation & Research Officers will be supporting the Senior Job Evaluation & Research Officer and Reward & Recognition Manager, to deliver; job evaluations and appeals, terms and conditions specialisms, data analysis and research. You will be a strong HR/OD practitioner, advising and negotiating in line with employment legislation, policy, and local government terms and conditions of employment, with underpinning demonstrable knowledge of job evaluation, preferably within a local government organisation. You must be a self-starter, highly motivated, organised, methodical, a critical thinker and able to manage large volumes of work.
