The job

We are looking to recruit an experienced, skilled and dynamic Senior Regeneration & Property Lawyer with a ‘can do’ approach who will join our Regeneration & Property Team and play a vital role in the next stage of our continuous improvement journey.

Utilising skills and experience gained within a similar position, you will report to the Assistant Head of Legal Services (Regeneration & Property) and will have your own complex and varied caseload on matters including regeneration, commercial property, homeownership and land transactions.

The role will involve supervising and managing junior staff and providing legal advice and support to committees, members and senior officers, and taking any appropriate measures to ensure continued legal service delivery. You will also need to build a strong rapport and work collaboratively with our colleagues across the Council.

You must be a qualified solicitor or barrister holding a current practising certificate, or FiLex.
