Catering Manager - To start 7th June - £10 - £12 Per Hour

I am currently looking for an experienced Catering Manager to take on a role at a small Primary School just south of Colchester.

THE ROLE:

  • You will be leading a small team and be responsible for planning and delivering school meals for the school's students.
  • You will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen including all daily checks, stock rotation, ordering etc. along with monthly stocktakes
  • The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:00pm. Term time only.
  • The role will begin on a temporary basis but could lead to permanent employment for the right applicant.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or school kitchen management is desirable.
  • Knowledge of preparing healthy, balanced meals from scratch is a must.
  • Managing a budget and completing stock takes
  • It is preferential that you hold a current DBS check, but we are happy to receive applications from experienced Catering Managers who do not hold a DBS but would be happy to undergo the required checks to obtain the certificate.
