The strategy has support from all major stakeholders and is resourced. This new role forms part of the investment Basildon Council is making in the delivery of the strategy.

To ensure we are successful in the delivery of this exciting and ambitious programme, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to work alongside our PMO to manage the delivery of this complex strategy and the workstreams that underpin it.

You will use your extensive experience to understand both the high-level outcomes and the detail of the project and will be responsible for reporting against programme progress to Council senior leaders.

You will be able to identify risks and work with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate mitigation is in place, as well as driving decision making and ensuring clear accountability throughout the programme and that actions are met, and milestone achieved. You will own and maintain all associated project documentation to a high standard to ensure visibility of progress against the required activities.

If you would like to be part of Basildon's success, we look forward to receiving your application.
