The Role

The Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) Team in the Adults Social Services Department is looking to fill a secondment/fixed term post for a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) Administrator to begin as soon as possible until 31st March 2023.

DOLS provides a legal framework for service users who lack capacity to be deprived of their liberty for the purpose of care and treatment whilst in Care Homes / Hospitals. Administrators play a key part in the processing of DOLS referrals received as they triage information, communicate with providers, assessors and members of the public, complete Mosaic workflows as well as other general administrative duties. The role is challenging, varied and interesting.

The successful individual will have a ‘can do’ attitude, have experience using Microsoft Office, be able to work independently and flexibly and be able to organise and prioritise their own workload to meet deadlines.

This role will suit someone who is a strong team player, has attention to detail/accuracy and wants to provide an excellent service for Richmond and Wandsworth service users. This is a full-time post (36 hours), there is the possibility for flexibility around start times.
